The National (Mar 2018) - Edinburgh-based image website fills gap in the stock photo market

We’re trying to combat stereotypes of what stock photography gives at the moment. There was a lot of press recently about how stock images present women on periods. It said stock photos are fuelling period shame. Thinking outside the box and using more creative and candid images can help to tackle issues like this.

BBC News (Oct 2017) - Image rights start-up Pixey.io wins funding boost

A Scottish start-up that aims to help broadcasters and publishers obtain the digital rights to Instagram photographs has secured £243,000 in seed funding. Equity Gap, Gabriel and Scottish Investment Bank have invested a total of £213,000 in the business, with a further £30,000 from Robin Knox and Paul Walton of Intelligent Point of Sale.
